Bills is a most excellent organic reasturant / shop in the small town of Lewes (10 min drive from us). Inside you'll find all sorts of homegrown organic veg and fruit aswell as health foods, homemade cakes, pizza's, pies and sandwhiches. Full evening menu as well as breakfast and all day menu's. The Plough
This is a great pub for both food and drink. Located about a 5min drive away this is within easy reach of our campsite and is also the base for one of the cycle routes shown in the Activities section. The Hatch Inn
The landmark public house located in the heart of Ashdown Forest, close to the acclaimed Asdown Park Hotel and Pooh Bridge (see Attractions). Roughly 15minute drive, excellent food, therefore advise booking. Lunch: Wednesday to Sunday - 12pm – 2:30pm Dinner Tuesday to Saturday - 7.00pm – 9.30pm
May Cottage Café An easy walk on footpaths for a tasty lunch or afternoon tea. Rather small and can get quite busy but it is well-known by cyclists.
