The Sloop is the closest pub from our campsite, roughly a half hour walk 
through the beautiful Wapsbourne Wood. After the pleasant stroll great
food and chilled drinks await.

During summer months the sloop is open all day from 12h00 to 23h00

The King's head in Chailey

 


The Kings Head is only 2 miles up the road in Chailey and is fully of variety.
Live Music. Quiz Nights. Large Garden. Children welcome. This pub will always

Bills is a most excellent organic restaurant / shop in the small town of Lewes
(10 min drive from us). Inside you'll find all sorts of homegrown organic veg and fruit aswell as
health foods, homemade cakes, pizzas, pies and sandwiches. Full evening menu as well
as breakfast and all day menus. Bills is on Lewes high street just over the bridge after Argos.

The Plough

This is a great pub for both food and drink. Located about a 5min drive away this is within
easy reach of our campsite and is also the base for one of the cycle routes shown in the Activities
section. If your on the way back from Lewes then this pub is along the way.
