Welcome to Wowo Campsite

Welcome to our website which is here for you to find out everything you need to know
about our campsite here in the heart of Sussex.
We hope you will get to know who we are and what we're doing here at Wapsbourne
(Wowo), and whether you would like to come camping here.

We specialise in the things that we think are essential to great camping here at Wowo:

1. Campfires - We think camping just isn't the same without a crackling campfire to sit
around when it gets dark, cook on and keep you warm.

2. We are a family campsite - children and dog friendly, allowing
families to camp together in groups.

3. We have a varied selection of Mongolian Yurts for those campers looking
for added luxury whilst retaining the rustic style of the outdoors.

All of this is surrounded by our beautiful Sussex countryside with a small Brook that runs through the centre of the campsite and provides water edge camping. Our special Tipi Trail is woodland camping at its best also nestled alongside the Brook.
We give the biggest welcome to the warm hearted and friendly, and to those people who are respectful of privacy and property of our friends and neighbours. We have a few simple rules that are important to us that you can read here.

Free Musicians

If you are a professional musician or if playing music is how you earn part of your living - We are happy to offer free camping at Wowo for yourself and your family/ close friends. This can include up to 2 extra adult equivalents inside our standard camping season (1st March - 31st October), bringing your own tent and gear. All we ask is that you support us in creating magic moments with our music program. (One hour of music = one night of free camping).

Please note that we do not allow any drumming and all music is strictly acoustic.

It is essential to book for both Friday & Saturday nights on a weekend.

Stays cannot start or finish on a Saturday
3 nights minimum including Sunday on bank holidays between 1st April & 1st October.

Check in is from 2pm Onwards
Check out is 11am

We are open all year round with only the woodland tipi trail pitches and yurts available between 1st November & 28th February, we do not charge the additional £10 pitch fee for the woodland pitches during this time.

Small VW size campers welcome, however no larger please.
