Since 2010 we have had a 'village' area in the top right corner of Lower Moat. This is now the hub for several important activities and offers campers shelter during our occassional harsh British weather.
Saturday evening is when the village comes alive because at 6pm we serve homemade, locally sourced soup and bread for all campers. After this delicious complimentary meal we offer entertainment in the form of live acoustic music till around 9. This is a regular event every saturday evening but during the summer holidays we may put on music 3 or even four nights a week. The music scene is supplied by professional musicians who come to camp at Wowo for free and pay their way by performing.
During the summer months inside village area you will find:
- Homemade complimentary vegetarian soup every saturday at 6pm
- Acoustic music for kids and adults saturday at 7 - 9pm
- Jimmy the Juggling Jester doing workshops on thursdays throughout the summer, see Jimmy's Website
- Paella with Jonathan on Sunday evening: Jonathan's Website
